In 2021, Pro Exteriors began as a small, design-focused landscape architecture firm, completing plans for residential clients, group housing, and multi-unit projects.
By 2023, we expanded into local council work, securing contracts with a leading New Zealand playground developer. Over the next 12 months, we led the design of more than 40 school and public playgrounds, including the Wellington Botanical Gardens Children's Playground and Cass Square Playground in Hokitika.
In 2024, Pro Exteriors evolved into a full-service provider, offering end-to-end solutions from design to construction, ensuring a seamless, personalized experience for clients. Since then, we have completed multiple executive residential landscapes, delivering luxury outdoor spaces with precision and craftsmanship.
We take a modern approach to landscaping, considering how people live in the space, how it’s maintained, and how it evolves over time. At Pro Exteriors, we don’t just design outdoor spaces—we create generational landscapes built to last.

WHERE HAVE WE COME FROM?
Peter is the driving force behind Pro Exteriors, bringing a deep passion for landscape architecture and construction. He earned a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University and has been shaping high-end landscapes since starting out on the tools in 2016.
With a strong background in design and construction, he seamlessly blends the built environment with nature. Personally overseeing projects nationwide, Peter ensures every detail is executed with precision and creativity. His approach focuses on crafting functional, beautiful spaces that enhance both human and natural interactions.
